Delete Your DropVantage Account

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Deleting your DropVantage account is permanent. It may remove your profile, release workspaces, drafts, campaign plans, links, private uploaded assets, public DropVantage pages, provider connection records, and other account data from active systems.

Before requesting deletion

  1. Download or request an export of anything you want to keep.
  2. Save original audio, artwork, videos, and campaign files outside DropVantage.
  3. Cancel any paid subscription to prevent future renewal.
  4. Disconnect Meta, Spotify, and other providers if you also want access revoked immediately on their side.
  5. Confirm that collaborators do not need information stored only in your account.

Public-beta deletion process

Until self-service deletion is available:

  1. Sign in to your DropVantage account.
  2. Email support@dropvantage.com from the email associated with the account.
  3. Use the subject line: Delete My DropVantage Account.
  4. Include your artist name and a clear statement that you understand deletion is permanent.
  5. Do not include your password, API keys, access tokens, payment-card information, or copies of identification unless we specifically explain a secure verification method.

We may ask you to reauthenticate, confirm through your account email, or complete another reasonable verification step. We will not rely only on sensitive information sent in an ordinary email.

What deletion covers

Subject to verification, legal exceptions, and technical limitations, deletion is intended to remove or de-identify:

  • the authentication account and profile;
  • artist and release workspace information;
  • drafts, campaign plans, readiness data, notes, and saved links;
  • private audio, cover art, videos, and other owned storage objects;
  • public DropVantage pages and public-safe assets controlled by the account;
  • saved provider tokens and DropVantage connection records;
  • fan-capture records controlled by the account, where deletion is permitted and technically applicable;
  • account preferences and nonessential support data.

Information that may be retained

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for:

  • tax, accounting, payment, and transaction records;
  • fraud prevention, security, abuse investigations, and audit logs;
  • legal claims, disputes, holds, and regulatory obligations;
  • enforcement of agreements and protection of rights;
  • routine backups until they are overwritten.

Retained information will be limited, protected, and used only for the applicable purpose. Where practical, we will de-identify information instead of retaining it in identifiable form.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge verified privacy requests within 10 business days and complete applicable deletion requests within 45 calendar days. A permitted extension may be used when reasonably necessary, with notice. Operational deletion from active systems may finish sooner. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires.

Connected services

Deleting DropVantage does not delete your Meta, Spotify, Stripe, email, or other third-party accounts. Those companies control their own records. Disconnect or contact them separately.

After deletion

  • You may lose access immediately or when processing begins.
  • Public pages may stop working.
  • Existing search-engine or third-party caches may remain temporarily.
  • Deleted workspaces and uploads may not be recoverable.
  • Creating a new account later will not restore the deleted account.

Cancel a deletion request

Contact support@dropvantage.com immediately. We may be able to stop the process before deletion is completed, but we cannot guarantee recovery once deletion has begun.
